Angela Heinrich is in her fourth semester of studying B.Sc. Health Sciences at TUM, which has already given her many insights into biomedicine, psychology, sociology, research methods, epidemiology, management and health systems.

At the Center for Global Health, she assists with various scientific projects, conducts literature research, evaluates data, prepares presentations and is also responsible for the institute's social media channels and its website.

Her goal is to close the gender data gap and to improve the prevention of infectious diseases, especially in developing countries.

In her spare time, Angela volunteers at the food bank as part of talente.spenden and writes articles for the nutrition education channel "foodformedicine". She is also a member of CampusforChange, a non-profit association that promotes development projects in five countries. Because of her enthusiasm for medicine, Angela sometimes helps out as a paramedic and lifeguard. She also enjoys dancing, tutoring, martial arts and triathlon training.
