Jennifer Robb did her Bachelors degree in biomedicine at the University of Durham, England, followed by a Masters in Molecular and Cellular Biosciences at Imperial College London. She has always been fascinated by Neglected Tropical Diseases and vector borne diseases, and researched leishmaniasis and malaria during her Bachelors and Masters respectively. She has also done an internship at the Uganda Virus Research institute. After graduating, she worked as a research technician for 2 years at the Institute for Science and Technology Austria, where she researched social immunity in ants. She is currently carrying out her PhD focusing on schistosomiasis and fetomaternal immunity.
