Theresa Josten is in her 10th semester studying medicine at LMU Munich. Before her studies, she trained as a MTLA. After an Internship at the KCCR, Ghana, she gained work experience at the University Hospital Bonn and the UKSH Campus Lübeck. During her studies, she was employed at the Division of Infectious Disease and Tropical Medicine University Hospital, LMU Munich. She is currently working as a doctoral student at the Institute for Microbiology, Immunology and Hygiene. Together with her supervisor Dr PhD Youssef Hamway, she is working on a new rapid Schistosoma field test.
