Walaa Jradi studied Animal biology at the Lebanese University for her undergraduate and Master 1 degree. After that, she moved to Grenoble, France, to finish her Master 2 degree in Physiology, Epigenetics, Differentiation, and Cancer. She has a lifelong interest in learning about disorders related to the immune system. She recently started her Ph.D. in the area of fetomaternal immunology at the Technical University of Munich's Institute for Medical Microbiology, Immunology, and Hygiene. She is interested in investigating how the activation of the maternal immune system influences the developing immune system of the offspring and eventually changes their susceptibility to allergic airway inflammation (AAI).
